ADEKA CORPORATION Fuji Plant received the 2025 Prime Minister's Commendations to Distinguished Services in Safety.
This award is presented by the Prime Minister to individuals and organizations that have made outstanding achievements in spreading the safety concept and improving safety standards on National Public Safety Day (July 1), which is designated by the Japanese government.
Our Fuji Plant (started operation in 1960), producing hydrogen peroxide and its derivatives. Hydrogen peroxide is an environmentally friendly product because it decomposes to water and oxygen. So it is widely used in safe bleaching and cleaning applications such as paper manufacturing, daily necessities, toiletries, and soil cleaning. In February 2025, the plant expanded its facilities for high-purity hydrogen peroxide used in the semiconductor manufacturing process and began commercial operation.
The award was given in recognition of the Fuji Plant's 20 years and 8 months of accident-free operations and its efforts to reduce the risk of chemical substances handled at the plant.
