Mie Plant Obtained OH&SMS Certification

Our Mie Plant acquired the certification of the conformity to Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OH&SMS) on September 14, 2000. The certification given this time is based on the standard corresponding to BS-8800 that is the British standard well-known worldwide in the system. The Mie Plant has already been given the certifications for ISO-9002 and ISO-14001, and the addition of OH&SMS Certificate to them will provide the Plant with the systems for three factors of a factory, "Quality", "Environment" and "Safety".
From now on, the Plant will make use of the system effectively and synergistically to make it a plant we can boast to the world as "Quality-oriented Plant", "Earth-friendly Plant" and "Workers-friendly Plant".
