The initiation ceremony was held on April 3, and Mr. Iwashita, President, made a speech to the newcomers as follows:
We must pursue for higher operational efficiency, promote the structural reform, do away with the conventionalities, and aim at a competitive corporation under the management policy "Aim at becoming an aggressive, advanced enterprise keeping reactive with the changes in a new tide" and "Live with the World". For this purpose, you are required to elicit your potential ability and contribute to the corporate performance as early as you can. In the meantime, take care of your health, and create a good human network in and outside the company, and grow to be a full-fledged member of society.
