Top CSR Framework Environmental Policy

I. Basic Environmental Principle

1. Corporate-wide Global Environmental Conservation and Pollution Prevention

  We shall make all aspects of our business activities environmentally sustainable. The concerned departments in the company are to carry out fair and sustainable activities in cooperation with the Asahi Denka Group companies. Each employee shall be highly conscious of environmental conservation and actively participate in our environmental management.

2. Corporate Responsibility

  We shall contribute to realization of a sustainable society by minimizing negative environmental impacts of our entire business operations. We shall save energy and resources, and reduce, reuse, and recycle industrial waste. We shall promote development and provision of environmentally sound technology and products, as well as green procurement.

3. Contribution to society

  We shall comply with environmental laws, regulations and governmental policies as a good member of society. We shall disclose environmental information and offer positive assistance to environmental conservation activities of local communities.

II. Environmental Action Plan

1. Assure Safety and Sanitation, and Minimize Environmental Burden by Promoting the "Four Safeties".

  Ensure work safety and prevent disaster through risk assessment and KY activities.

  Provide appropriate information in handling chemical substances and products, and prevent quality complaints.

(3) Facility Safety
  Prevent accidents by self-initiative protection activities, and systematic facility upgrades.

(4) Environmental Safety
  Promote energy conservation, waste reduction, and reduction of toxic waste generation.

2. Promote Business Management that Complies with Legislation and Social Ethics.

4. Support Active Environmental Conservation, and Safety and Quality Assurance when Expanding Business Abroad.
