Basic Principle
As the environment surrounding corporate management has been changing drastically, the need for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has increased. Globalization of corporate activities, stronger demand for product safety, and growing interest in environmental issues, are some examples of the factors corporate management now take into consideration.
Asahi Denka Group seeks to achieve “harmony among humans and technology” and “harmony between business and society”. The basic principle of our CSR is to make a contribution to society through production of safe and quality products that are environmentally sustainable and meet customers’ demands.
We approach CSR from three aspects; social, environmental, and economic. Our commitment to CSR is based on the consideration of various stakeholders’ good, i.e. sustainable development of the company, profit increase, and coexistence and mutual prosperity with local community, global society, and the global environment.

CSR Organizational Structure
CSR structure of Asahi Denka Corporation and CSR structure consists of three pillars; Compliance, Risk Management, and Environmental Protection and Quality Safety. The basis of this structure is efficient corporate governance. The division of corporate management’s decision-making mechanism and administration enable readiness and efficiency in governance.
