Antioxidants

Antioxidants react with peroxy radicals and hydroperoxides to prevent polymer brittleness. When combined with light stabilizers, they also show remarkable performance in preventing deterioration caused by light.

Light stabilizers

There are two types of light stabilizer: Ultraviolet Absorbers (UVA) and Hindered Amine Light Stabilizers (HALS). The former converts light energy into harmless thermal energy. The latter react with radicals generated through light deterioration.

Nucleating agents

Nucleating agents give high degree of crystallinity to polymers resulting in increased mechanical properties such as hardness,elasticity modulus etc,and improve optical properties such as transparency.

Flame retardants

Plastics are used for various applications and therefore need many kinds of properties. Amongst these is the requirement for flame resistance which is increasing especially for plastics used for electronic applications. "ADK STAB Oligomeric Phosphate Flame Retardants" provide excellent flame resistance for plastics and do not generate dioxins.
