Intumescent Flame Retardants for Polyolefins: Benefits and Applications
Flame retardants have been given significant attention in the last decades and the trend to replace traditional systems such as halogenate flame retardants with non-halogenated alternatives continues. In this presentation, an overview of the intumescent flame-retardant portfolio of ADEKA is given, highlighting the benefits of intumescent products in general, with respect to smoke density and smoke toxicity, as well as secondary properties.
